Education The Education Committee members are currently reviewing Governor Branstad’s Education Blueprint.The members of this committee will also research any other state legislation related to education and will lead the Council in developing position statements. |

Harassment Awareness Bullying, harassment and other forms of violence have impacted young people throughout our state. The Harassment Awareness Committee is seeking to understand this impact more completely and to devise ways combat it. The members of this committee are also researching state legislation related to school violence and bullying and will lead the Council in developing position statements. |

Health & Wellness Our Health and Wellness Committee is seeking out ways to promote healthy lifestyle choices among Iowa’s youth. The committee also plans to encourage positive role modeling of healthy behaviors. The members of this committee will research state legislation related to youth health and wellness and will lead the Council in developing position statements. |
