Afterschool Quality

Activities of the Iowa Afterschool Alliance to develop a systemic infrastructure for improving the quality of Iowa’s afterschool programs is done primarily through the work of the IAA Quality Work Group.

Most notably, in 2008, the IAA Quality Work Group, led by Keli Tallman of ISU Extension/4H Youth Development, developed the Iowa Afterschool Alliance Standard Categories and Corresponding Indicators of Quality Afterschool in Iowa.
